Robin at England's national stadium

Hey folks.

So, here's Robin at the world famous Wembley Stadium, the home of football/soccer in England and an ongoing national farce.

The original stadium opened on the site in 1923, but they closed it to build a new one in October 2000. It was supposed to re-open in May 2006 with the FA Cup Final, but they've had a whole load of problems with it and it's now not going to be finished until 2007 (which means lots of sport and music events have had to be cancelled).

Still, when me and Robin were in the carpark the other night (we went to a gig at the venue next to the stadium) it did look very impressive. Here's hoping that when it's finally finished, it'll have been worth all the trouble!

This is what it used to look like - http://www.britac.ac.uk/news/reports/archaeology/wembley.jpg
And this is what it should look like when it's finished - http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/graphics/2005/03/08/sfnwin08.jpg (note the huge arch which you can see above Robin's head)

I have a feeling Robin will get dizzy flying rings around the arch!

I've absolutely no idea where manc is - is that short for Manchester? If so, well, I've no idea where that is either - lol! Guess I'd better get out my map!

PS - Anyone know where Wisconsin, USA is?

What a small world! I live just an hour from there - in Eau Claire Wisconsin. I have dear friends who taught at Winona. When was Rob there?
