Robin and the Queen's house

Originally uploaded by athens2004blog.

This one was taken on Sunday, when we went to Windsor for a day out with some friends of ours who were over from Sweden.

This is the river that runs through the town, with lots of swans on it. In the background you can see Windsor Castle, which is where the Queen calls home. We tried knocking on her door to borrow some teabags, but she didn't answer.

What a lucky little bird! I'm always joking with my mum that before I die I'm going to cross the big pond, knock on the door of Windsor castle, and announce that I've arrived to have tea and crumpets with the queen - lol! I don't even know what a crumpet is . . . perhaps Robin likes them with his tea?

Crumpets are a soft doughy item that are toasted. I like them with lashings of Marmite on them. For those across the pond, you also find guardsmen at windsor castle that you find at buckingham palace. This I know as I used to be one!
